Most planning applications now require a 10% net gain in biodiversity over the baseline, monitored for 30 years. Our records and exports are shaped to feed that workflow.
Welsh public bodies must seek to maintain and enhance biodiversity, and report every three years. We help councils evidence those actions across managed sites.
Every responsible authority produces an LNRS that maps habitats and recovery opportunities. Our site-level records aggregate cleanly into LNRS habitat data.
Used in essentially every planning application involving trees. Our per-tree records carry the categorisation, dimensions, and constraints data BS 5837 surveys depend on.

Is JoinEcoGrow already live with councils?
Not yet — JoinEcoGrow is a Cardiff-based product in early operational stage. The Cardiff demo shows what a council deployment can look like, with illustrative data only. We are open about this so reviewers can evaluate the platform on its merits.
Who owns the data our team captures?
Your organisation. JoinEcoGrow processes the records your team creates and claims no ownership over your environmental records, photos or location data.
Can we export our records if we leave?
Yes. Records are designed to be exportable as structured outputs at any time. Lock-in is not a healthy posture for council software, and we do not design for it.
Does it replace our ecology consultant or arboriculturist?
No. JoinEcoGrow supports record-keeping and reviewer-friendly outputs. Statutory advice on BNG, planning conditions, BS 5837 categorisation and environmental reporting must continue to come from accredited professionals.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is shaped per organisation based on managed-site count, team size and reporting scope. The fastest path to a number is a 15-minute briefing.
